"They say Japan was made by a sword. They say the old gods dipped a coral blade into the ocean, and when they pulled it out four perfect drops fell back into the sea, and those drops became the islands of Japan. I say, Japan was made by a handful of brave men. Warriors, willing to give their lives for what seems to have become a forgotten word: honour." ~ Simon Graham

I've always admired the Japanese culture. They have an amazing worth ethic that resonates with mine: they seem to work hard on their craft, always striving higher for perfection, yet on the other hand they have the discipline to devote themselves to having a simple lifestyle.

For a while I just thought of Samurais as "cool warriors." After I watched the film "The Last Samurai" I felt my world change. I felt more at peace with myself and I had a better understanding of what it means to be a Samurai. I was so fascinated with Samurais that I did more research, which led me to different Japanese art styles. This amazing design is inspired by that research.

The design did so well that it became my second most successful design, having a massive  73,024 views, over 311 likes and 490 shares, until 2015 where it got over taken by "Black Beauty."
